• Military: 1777 to 1779; He was a member of the company of Capt. Job Gushing of Shrewsbury in the regiment of Col. Jonathan Ward, in the Revolutionary War, and in Capt. Job Whipple's Co., 5th Regt., in 1777 and 1779. His discharge was dated Apr. 1, 1779.
