Stephen Johnson Jr. was born on 11 February 1821 at Warwick, Massachusetts.3,4,2 He was the son of Stephen Johnson and Polly White.1,2 On 29 February 1848 Stephen married Betsey Rebecca Shepardson, daughter of Jonathan Shepardson and Hannah Delvee.1,3 Stephen Johnson Jr. and Betsey Rebecca Shepardson appeared on the US Census of 1880 at Warwick, Massachusetts.5 Stephen Johnson Jr. died on Saturday, 30 January 1892 at Winchester, New Hampshire, at age 70 years, 11 months and 19 days.3,4,2 The gravestone inscription at Warwick Cemetery, Warwick, Massachusetts, reads:
