Walter Herbert Moore

     Walter Herbert Moore was born on 1 December 1887 at Warwick, Massachusetts.^1,3 He was the son of Frank Herbert Moore and Martha A. Rogers.^1,2,3 Walter Herbert Moore was listed in the household of Frank Herbert Moore and Clara Edith Hunter in 1910 US Census at Athol, Massachusetts.⁴ Walter Herbert Moore lived at Belchertown, Massachusetts. On 2 March 1925 at Athol, Massachusetts, Walter married Harriet Louise Trask, daughter of William Trask and Ella S. Woodis.³ According to his obituary in the Belchertown Sentinal, he "had been a resident of Belchertown for 20 years and previously was road superintendant in Dana. He was recently employed by Ketchen's Machine Shop and Quabbin Industries, Inc.... Mr. Moore was a dooryard neighbor of ours. He was forever busy at something. We admired his courage and his friendliness was a joy.³" Walter Herbert Moore died on Friday, 9 January 1959 at Belchertown, Massachusetts, at age 71 years, 1 month and 8 days.³ Walter was buried on 20 January 1959 at Quabbin Park Cemetery, Ware, Massachusetts.³
