Mary Hill was born in 1819.1 On 18 January 1844 Mary married Philander Pierce, son of Joshua Pierce and Lucy Delvee.1 Mary Hill died on Wednesday, 3 September 1862 at age 43 years.1 The gravestone inscription at Warwick Cemetery, Warwick, Massachusetts, reads:
