George S. Talcott
Male, #1789, b. about 1839, d. 26 June 1897
George S. Talcott was born about 1839 at Connecticut.1 He enlisted in 1862, serving until his discharge in 1865. Among the battles he faught in was the Battle of Cold Harbor.2 On 1 January 1872 at Petersham, Massachusetts, George married Mary E. Pratt, daughter of Daniel Pratt and Bathsheba Delvee.2 George S. Talcott and Mary E. Pratt appeared on the US Census of 1880 at New Britain, Connecticut.1 George S. Talcott died on Saturday, 26 June 1897 at Gardner, Massachusetts, after seven weeks illness.2
