George N. Delvee
     [Tribe of Alvin]. George Nelson Delvee was born on 14 June 1881 at Camden, Missouri.1 He was the son of George Alvin Delvee and Talitha Isabell Landreth.1 George Nelson Delvee moved to Coffeyville, Kansas, in 1900.1 He was employed by Missouri Pacific roundhouse in 1903.1 On 15 July 1908 at Independence, Kansas, George married Mary Murdoch Martin, daughter of A. E. Martin and Harriet unknown.2 On 1 July 1927 at Union, Mississippi, George married Sarah Virginia Vance.1 George Nelson Delvee retired on 30 May 1948 from the Missouri Pacific Railroad.1 In 1952, he suffered a cerebral hemorrhage.1 He died on Thursday, 31 August 1961 at the Memorial Hosptial, Coffeyville, Kansas, at age 80 years, 2 months and 17 days.3
