Lucy Town was born on 2 November 1744 at Oxford, Massachusetts.1,2,3,8,5,6,7 She was the daughter of Samuel Town and Bathsheba Woods.1,2,3,4,5,6,7 Lucy Town lived at Charlton, Massachusetts, after her father's death in 1760. Lucy and Peter Delvee's marriage intentions were filed on 7 June 1766 at Oxford, Massachusetts.9,3 On 10 July 1766 at Charlton, Massachusetts, Lucy married Peter Delvee, son of Jonathan Delvee.10,11,9,5,12,6,7,13 Lucy Town and Peter Delvee lived at Warwick, Massachusetts, on the Delvey farm with his surviving son, Jonathan.14 Lucy Town died on Saturday, 29 May 1824 at Warwick, Massachusetts, at age 79 years, 6 months and 27 days Her death was recorded in Jonathan Blake's diary.5,6,7,15,16 The gravestone inscription at Warwick Cemetery, Warwick, Massachusetts, reads:
