The IGI gives the date: 4 January 1832.8,3 Peter Delvy and Ruth Carter lived in 1834 at Gill, Massachusetts.9 Peter and Ruby Carter's marriage intentions were filed on 11 January 1837 at Gill, Massachusetts.10 On 29 January 1837 at Petersham, Massachusetts, Peter married Ruby Carter, daughter of John Carter and Ruth Goodnow.8,5 Peter Delvy appeared on the US Census of 1860 at Warwick, Massachusetts.11 He died on Monday, 2 August 1869 at Gill, Massachusetts, at age 74 years and 3 days.1,9,4,5,7 He was buried at North Cemetery, Gill, Massachusetts.
