     Ralph Edward Robbins was born on 23 March 1911 at Orange, Massachusetts.1,3,2 He was the son of Fred Lyman Robbins and Maude Beatrice Whitney.1,2 Ralph Edward Robbins was also known as Ralph Elmer. He retired in 1978 at Orange Fire Department, Orange, Massachusetts, as deputy chief, having served more then 20 years.1 He died on Tuesday, 29 August 1989 at the Burbank Hospital, Fitchburg, Massachusetts, at age 78 years, 5 months and 6 days.1,3 Ralph was buried on 1 September 1989 at Central Cemetery, Orange, Massachusetts.1
