Frank Pearson Briggs was born on 11 December 1922 at Orange, Massachusetts.1 He was the son of Carl Chadwick Briggs and Arline Pearson.1 Frank Pearson Briggs enlisted on 30 September 1941; He served in the Army Air Corps 30 September 1941, and was called to active duty on 29 January 1942. He left the service at the end of World War II as a Staff Sargent. On 21 June 1948 at Athol, Massachusetts, Frank married Ruth P. Simonds, daughter of Perley H. Simonds and Bernadette I. LaFord. Frank Pearson Briggs died on Wednesday, 27 August 2008 at age 85 years, 8 months and 16 days.2
