Barbara Ann McKenney was born on 12 October 1932 at Orange, Massachusetts.2,1 She was the daughter of Everett Arnold McKenney and Iva Irene Jones.1 Barbara Ann McKenney graduated in 1950 at Orange, Massachusetts, from Orange High School.1 On 20 June 1953 at Orange, Massachusetts, Barbara married Charles L. Barnes, son of Loriston L Barnes and Lydia Graves.3 Barbara Ann McKenney and Charles L. Barnes lived in 1996 at 232 West River Street, Orange, Massachusetts.2 Barbara Ann McKenney died on Monday, 24 January 2000 at Orange, Massachusetts, at age 67 years, 3 months and 12 days.1,4 According to her obituary, "She was an accounts payable clerk for the Rodney Hunt Company in Orange for 30 years, retiring in l998. She was an active member of the First Universalist Church in Orange, and for many years served as treasurer, taught Sunday school, sang in the church choir and was a member of the Marion E. Nason Unity Club. She was a member and past worthy matron of the Order of Eastern Star Themis Chapter No. 30 in Athol. She was also a member of the Swift River Valley Historical Society in New Salem and the Orange Senior Citizens Club.1" Barbara was buried on 28 January 2000 at Silver Lake Cemetery, Athol, Massachusetts.1
