Raymond Emmon Ballou was born on 20 January 1905 at Wendell, Massachusetts.1 He was the son of William Herbert Ballou and Maude Nellie Stiles.1,2 He had a measles as a child which, left him with seizures for the remainder of his short life.1 Raymond Emmon Ballou died on Saturday, 17 March 1923 at the Monson State Hospital, Monson, Massachusetts, at age 18 years, 1 month and 25 days of pulmonary edema.1 Raymond was buried at Central Cemetery, Orange, Massachusetts.1
