Lillian (Dill) Miller
Lillian V. Dill was born on 28 August 1910 at Charlestown, New Hampshire.1 She was the daughter of William C. Dill and Nettie Hallberg.1 Lillian married Horace H. Smith.1 Lillian married Edward Miller.1 According to her obituary, "she grew up in Athol and graduated from Athol High School in 1939. She was married to Bernie Gatautis on Sept. 2, 1950. He died on Feb. 17, 1993. After high school she worked at the former Athol Webster Sole Co. for many years. She had also worked at the former Giant Store, and the former Bill's Market, all of Athol. A member of St. Francis of Assisi Church, she belonged to the St. Francis Women's Guild and the Athol Golden Agers Club. Devoted to her church, she also enjoyed cooking as well as being a talented seamstess.1" Lillian V. Dill died on Friday, 9 January 2004 at Athol Memorial Hospital, Athol, Massachusetts, at age 93 years, 4 months and 12 days.1 Lillian was buried on 15 January 2004 at South Cemetery, Orange, Massachusetts.1
