Louisa Maria Delvy was born on 14 June 1834 at Warwick, Massachusetts.1,2,3,5,4 She was the daughter of Peter Delvy and Ruth Carter.1,2,3,4 On 16 May 1854 Louisa married Otis Fisk Hale.1,2,3,5,4 Louisa Maria Delvy and Otis Fisk Hale appeared on the US Census of 1880 at Gill, Massachusetts.6 Lucy was visiting her niece, Louise, and the conversation got around to the Delvee property, which would soon have to be sold to settle the estate of Calvin Delvee. They thought that the families of Calvin and Peter should get together one more time. Soon they decided to hold a reunion of all of the available descendants of the first Peter. The first reunion was held on a Wednesday, 2 June 1886, and was attended by 126 people. It was such a success that it was decided to meet each year. By the time of the second reunion, the farm had been sold to William Shepardson. The Delvey Grove was purchased from Mr. Shepardson for $60.00. Louisa Maria Delvy and Otis Fisk Hale appeared on the US Census of 1910 at Gill, Massachusetts.7 Louisa Maria Delvy died on Wednesday, 13 January 1915 at Gill, Massachusetts, at age 80 years, 6 months and 30 days.2,5,4 Louisa and Otis Fisk Hale were buried at North Cemetery, Gill, Massachusetts.
