     Ruby Carter was born on 12 January 1804 at Petersham, Massachusetts.1 She was the daughter of John Carter and Ruth Goodnow. Ruby and Peter Delvy's marriage intentions were filed on 11 January 1837 at Gill, Massachusetts.2 On 29 January 1837 at Petersham, Massachusetts, Ruby married Peter Delvy, son of Jonathan Delvee and Hannah Johnson.3,4 Ruby Carter died on Sunday, 22 February 1880 at Gill, Massachusetts, at age 76 years, 1 month and 10 days.1 Ruby was buried at North Cemetery, Gill, Massachusetts.
