Orasa Coolidge was born on 28 July 1812 at New Salem, Massachusetts. Ruth (2002) lists his birth place as Orange, but I can not find him listed in the vital records of that town. The Delvee Records lists his birth place as Natick, Massachusetts.3,1,4 He was the son of Asa Coolidge and Anna Loring Jenkinson.1,2 Orasa Coolidge was christened on 22 January 1817 at New Salem, Massachusetts.2 He lived in 1850 at Petersham, Massachusetts. On 25 June 1850 at Gill, Massachusetts, Orasa married Susan Carter Delvy, daughter of Peter Delvy and Ruth Carter.5,6,1,4 Orasa Coolidge and Susan Carter Delvy lived about 1851 at Petersham, Massachusetts. Orasa Coolidge and Susan Carter Delvy appeared on the US Census of 1880 at Petersham, Massachusetts.7 Orasa Coolidge died on Thursday, 26 March 1896 at Petersham, Massachusetts, at age 83 years, 7 months and 27 days.8,3,1,4
