Lorenzo West

     Lorenzo West was born on 11 March 1820 at Greenwich, Massachusetts. He appeared on the US Census of 1850 at Petersham, Massachusetts.1 Lorenzo had a daughter, Jennie West, by a previous marriage who married J. Harry Pond and lived in Athol, Massachusetts. On 3 October 1860 Lorenzo married Sarah Ruth Delvy, daughter of Peter Delvy and Ruth Carter.2,3,4 Lorenzo West was boot bottomer in 1880.3 He and Sarah Ruth Delvy appeared on the US Census of 1880 at Petersham, Massachusetts.5 Lorenzo West served as village sexton and undertaker at Petersham, Massachusetts.3 He died on Friday, 29 September 1899 at Petersham, Massachusetts, at age 79 years, 6 months and 18 days.6
