Ruth (2002) gives his birth place as Petersham.^2,1 He was the son of Frank Arthur Coolidge and Fanny Augusta Ober.¹ On 15 June 1918 Horace married Ruth Miranda Amsden, daughter of Albert Amsden and Lydia Gould.³ Horace Ober Coolidge died on Friday, 5 August 1955 at Petersham, Massachusetts, at age 58 years, 8 months and 22 days.^2,1 Horace and Ruth Miranda Amsden were buried at Petersham, Massachusetts.²
