Donald Lawrence Allen was born on 19 February 1931 at Council Bluffs, Iowa.1,2 He was the son of Russell Allen and Mildred Alice Brown.1,2 On 18 April 1951 Donald married Marvella McIntosh.1 On 15 August 1954 Donald married Maralyn Montgomery.1 According to his obituary: "He attended Abraham Lincoln High School in Council Bluffs, IA, and joined the Air Force in 1949. He later graduated from Truman State University (f/k/a Northeast Missouri State University) with a Bachelor's Degree and then graduated from the University of Missouri-Kansas City with a Law Degree. After graduating from Law School he opened his own practice at 3rd & Jefferson in Lee's Summit, MO. He also enjoyed serving as a Prosecutor part time in the Jackson County Prosecutor's Office in Independence, MO. He served on the Lee's Summit Parks Board, was a member of the First Baptist Church of Lee's Summit, Missouri Bar Association, Kansas City Bar Association, Eastern Jackson County Bar Association, Excelsior Lodge #259 of the American Legion and the Masonic Bodies: Summit Lodge #263 and Ararat Shrine Temple.2" Donald Lawrence Allen died on Tuesday, 12 October 2004 at age 73 years, 7 months and 23 days of heart disease.2 Donald was buried on 18 October 2004 at Cedar Lawn Cemetery, Council Bluffs, Iowa.2
