Relationship=Great-grandson of Peter Delvee.
     William Shepardson was a mechanic.1 He was born in 1823 at Warwick, Massachusetts.1 He was the son of Jonathan Shepardson and Hannah Delvee.1 On 10 July 1862, he enlisted as a private in the 37th Massachusetts Volunteer Infantry, and was mustered in on 25 September 1862. On 1 January 1863, he was promoted to Corporal. On 6 May 1864, he was wounded in the Battle of the Wilderness. On 1 April 1865, he was promoted to Sergeant. On 21 June 1865, he was mustered out of the service.1
