     Grace Effie Coolidge was born on 4 January 1914 at Southbridge, Massachusetts.3,1,2 She was the daughter of Roger Earle Coolidge and Myrtle F. Barnes.1,2 Grace married Harold S. Barnes, son of Harold S. Barnes. Grace Effie Coolidge lived in 1992 at Petersham, Massachusetts.4 She died on Thursday, 30 December 1999 at 164 Hardwick Road, Petersham, Massachusetts, at age 85 years, 11 months and 26 days.1 According to her obituary, "She was a former school lunch manager and school bus driver for the Petersham Center School, a chauffeur, cook, and maid for several families in Petersham, as well as working at West Road Inn, Nichewaug Inn, Petersham Craft Center Tea Room, Buell's Oak Ridge Dairy Bar and the New Salem Restaurant. She received the Clara Horton Sisterhood of the Unitarian Universalist Women's Federation in 1993. She was a member of the Petersham Historical Committee, Petersham Branch Alliance, Petersham Levee Committee, a founding member of the Petersham Craft Center and a member of the Parish Committee and other church committees. An avid gardener, she also enjoyed knitting elephants and baking cookies.1"
