     Gertrude Hastings was born on 15 June 1901.2 She was the daughter of Luther Marble Hastings and Lottie Clara Hale.1 On 6 October 1925 at Gill, Massachusetts, Gertrude married Percy Eugene Whitaker, son of Charles Herbert Whitaker and Orra May Hale.3 Gertrude Hastings died in November 1982 at at home, Ashburnham, Massachusetts, at age 81 years and 4 months.2,1 Gertrude was buried at Center Cemetery, Bernardston, Massachusetts.1
