Carl Harold Whitaker Jr. was born on 21 July 1924 at Greenfield, Massachusetts.1,2 He was the son of Carl Harold Whitaker and Ruth Louise Rogers.1,2 Carl Harold Whitaker Jr. graduated Powers Institute. He then attended the Greenfield Trade School.2 On 31 October 1951 at Congregational Church, South Amherst, Massachusetts, Carl married Catherine Rock, daughter of Nicholas Rock and Amelia Smiarowski.3,4,2,5 Carl Harold Whitaker Jr. and Catherine Rock lived in 2001 at Bernardston, Massachusetts.3 According to his obituary, "He worked as a farmer, and was also employed by the former Millers Falls Tool Co., in the molding department and also as a hand trucker. He was a member of the former Bernardston Grange #81.2" Carl Harold Whitaker Jr. died on Sunday, 3 July 2005 at Bernardston, Massachusetts, at age 80 years, 11 months and 12 days.6,2 Carl was buried on 8 July 2005 at Center Cemetery, Bernardston, Massachusetts.2
