Basil Earle Coolidge was born on 15 March 1934 at Ware, Massachusetts.1,2 He was the son of Basil Earle Coolidge and Helen Larson.1 Basil Earle Coolidge was nick named Pete.1 He graduated in 1952 from Petersham High School.1 On 14 March 1964 at the Unitarian Church, Petersham, Massachusetts, Basil married Janice S. Anderson, daughter of John B. Anderson.3 Basil Earle Coolidge and Janice S. Anderson were divorced. According to his obituary, "He attended the University of Massachusetts in Amherst. He was a machinist, employed by the Union Twist Drill company in Athol. He was also employed as a Quality Control Inspector for General Foods for several years. He was a veteran of the Korean war, serving in the Air Force. He was a former selectman in Petersham. He enjoyed sailing, hunting, fishing and the outdoors."1 Basil Earle Coolidge died on Friday, 13 May 2005 at Calvin Coolidge Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Northampton, Massachusetts, at age 71 years, 1 month and 28 days.1,2
