Mary Lucina Ingraham was born on 16 November 1845 at South Hadley, Massachusetts.1 She was the daughter of Dexter Ingraham and Lucina Ball.1 On 18 May 1875 Mary married George Arthur Adams.2,1 Mary Lucina Ingraham and George Arthur Adams appeared on the US Census of 1880 at North Brookfield, Massachusetts, living with George's parents.3 Mary Lucina Ingraham lived before 1893 at New Brunswick. On 3 October 1893 Mary married Charles White Delvey, son of Charles Fessenden Delvey and Ruth Drake.1 According to Crane (1907) "at the age of seventeen years began the study of music. She was a pupil of Madame Anna Bishop, of New York city, and later of Madame Rudersdorff, of Boston. She was the leading soprano in various churches in Boston, Worcester, Norwich and New Haven; has now retired from active work and is living in Worcester, Massachusetts.1" Mary Lucina Ingraham died in August 1926 at Worcester, Massachusetts, at age 80 years and 8 months.4
