     Lawrence Carlyle Ward was born on 18 July 1910 at North Orange, Massachusetts.1,2 He was the son of Everett Daniel Ward and Cora May Harding.1,2,3,4 Lawrence Carlyle Ward graduated in 1928 at Athol, Massachusetts, from Athol High School, where he was quarterback for the football team.4 He graduated in 1934 from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute where he recieved an engineering degree.4 On 6 November 1936 at Orange, Massachusetts, Lawrence married Edith Charlotte Waterman.1,3 Lawrence Carlyle Ward lived in 1941 at Ramsey, Bergan County, New Jersey.4 During World War II, he served with the U.S. Marine Corps, reaching the rank of Lt Col.3 He died on Tuesday, 12 February 1985 at Columbia, Richland County, South Carolina, at age 74 years, 6 months and 25 days.3,5
