     Roy Delvey Wetmore was born on 14 July 1895 at Warwick, Massachusetts.1 He was the son of Charles Wellington Wetmore and Hattie Irene Delvey.1 Roy married Ina unknown. He was an Army veteran of World War I, serving in the Flying School Detachment Squadron "B" in Texas.2,3 On 22 November 1927 at Athol, Massachusetts, Roy married Marjorie Mae Brown.3 Roy Delvey Wetmore was a toolmaker for L.S. Starrett Company and a sawmill operator.2 He was a 57-year member of Edward H. Phillips Post 102, American Legion, and a member of the World War I Veterans Association. He was a member of the Eastern Draft Horse Association, and was an avid hunter of raccoons.2 He died on Friday, 25 November 1994 at Athol Memorial Hospital, Athol, Massachusetts, at age 99 years, 4 months and 11 days.4,2 Roy was buried on 28 November 1994 at Silver Lake Cemetery, Athol, Massachusetts.2
