• History: Posted on the Bedford Town web site, "Judith was born in 1925 and after her marriage to Isham in 1957, returned to her childhood home in Bedford. She worked as an apprentice teacher in Cambridge and she likes to think that the most important gift has been the reading aloud at the Schools. Reading is what mostly defines her volunteering. She helped Williston Farrington put together a book, An Awesome Century, from a series of articles that he had written that had been published in The Minuteman. Judith has also been deeply involved in Town affairs and as Town historian for a six year period. She loves meeting people and being the kind of person who warmly welcomes people to her home and to the area with a hot cup of tea in the afternoon."
