• Obituary: 24 Dec 2017; Justin Harold Swanson, age 31, passed away December 20, 2017, in Omaha. Justin was born May 26, 1986, in Council Bluffs and worked for Brickway Brewery and Distillery in Omaha. Survivors include father, Marty (Holly Anderson) Swanson of Omaha; mother, Paula (Roger) Frieze of Council Bluffs; many other family and friends. Justin is preceded in death by his grandparents, Harold and Murlyn Swanson and Arthur and Harriett Smith.

Died:
From his father: "My son, Justin Harold Swanson, 31 years old, was walking home in Omaha Nebraska on December 14th, 2017. He was struck by a car and sustained multiple injuries including brain trauma. He died 6 days later, December 20th, in the Intensive Care Unit at Bergan Mercy in Omaha.

A Celebration of Life ceremony was held on December 30th in his birth city of Council Bluffs, Iowa, where approximately 340 people attended.

He was cremated and I have not yet decided where or when to bury the ashes.
