  Text	Marie Bascom, 81, of New Hartford, NY, died on March 18, 2009. Marie was born on July 4, 1927, on Long Island, NY, daughter of the late Frank and Marie Stoner. Marie was educated in schools in New York City and was a Registered Nurse. She had been employed in hospitals on Long Island. In 1952, Marie married Harry Bascom and moved to Utica NY. She is survived by her husband, three daughters, a son, their spouses and their children; Anne and Paul Cheng, Gurumeet and Satnam Khalsa, Siri Sunderi, Gurukirn, Amrit, and four great-granddaughters of Herndon, VA; Carol and Joe Vaccaro, Jillian and Cameron of Syracuse, NY; Leslie and Tom Rubel, and Annie of Camillus, NY; Harry and Lori Bascom, Matt, Katie and Emily of New Hartford, NY. Marie is also survived by a sister, Eleanor Downes, of Boston MA; along with several nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at the Dimbleby, Friedel, Williams & Edmunds Funeral Home, 13 Oxford Rd., New Hartford. Calling hours will be Tuesday morning, from 9:30 until 11:00. Interment will be in Crown Hill Memorial Park.
