  Text	Man killed in car crash FRANKFORD A one-car crash on Plains Road resulted in the death of the driver, Richard H. Ward, 39, of Beemerville. State police said Ward was traveling east on the road Wednesday night when his car ran off to the right and struck a tree. Ward was pronounced dead at the scene by a passing doctor and taken to Newton Hospital by the Blue Ridge Rescue Squad.
