Tribes and Clans of Delvee

Within the first 20 years after the Delvee Reunions started, someone noticed that Jonathan had 12 children who lived to adulthood and had children. The reunion, while stating it was for all descendants of Peter, was in reality only the descendents of Jonathan. The connections with the other descendants had been lost before the reunions were started. It was easy to make the link between the twelve tribes of Israel, and Jonathan's twelve children. Thus we soon had the twelve tribes of Delvee.

Twenty years ago, with the advent of computer research and genealogy, descendants of Peter who were not descendents of Jonathan were discovered. Since they were not in the tribes, the idea of clans was used. Thus the children of Peter each established a Clan, and the Clan of Jonathan, established tribes.
